Catherine Christie: Principal Practioner - My passion is healing relationships to offer real skills and tools for meaningful change. I am an ACA registered mental health professional with over 30 years combined experience in fields of couples counselling, relationship coaching, creative and psycho-social education, to include wellness development support, in the NDIS and Aged Care sectors.

As someone who has lived, loved and lost, I have found that it is the right support at the right time, that gets the job done. I consider it a humbling privilege indeed to work with couples and or individuals, of all ages, in all stages of life.

I support and work with my clients, off site or in a lovely private and tranquil setting, nestled in the leafy suburb of Subiaco, Perth. A safe and non-judgmental space for us to collaborate.

Cameron Mae Christie: Practioner - Welcome onboard Cameron Mae! Delightfully fresh and engaging, Cameron brings her expertise to this private practice. With a bachelors degree from Curtin University in Psychology and three years of dedicated support for NDIS participants, Cameron embodies patience, diligence, skill and profound empathy. Offering a distinctive service that integrates Psychosocial Support with regular disability support line codes, Cameron stands out.

 

Her extensive experience extends to conditions like Dementia, Parkinson's, and other significant autoimmune diseases to include Autism. So thrilled to have her join this established practice which will no doubt continue to grow and flourish to enjoy her unique style of service excellence and attention to detail.

More Info on the Couples Counselling Process: 

​

This process usually consists of 4 Double 100 minute sessions.( 2 x 50 minute appointments = "a couples session.") Typically all couples counselling sessions are double the allocated time, as opposed to individual sessions.

 

Before we start, you will both be required to fill out a 30 minute questionaire, which covers the entire typology of the relationship and which shortens the therapeutic  process. Please book online. Sundays are availble for couples who work full time.

Relationship education is not a medicare rebate service in Australia. I therefore offer a DISCOUNT of $330 (one free double couple session,) for upfront payment of all 4 sessions. Total Cost, with discount is $1100. Please follow the online booking prompts to secure your first spot by using the BOOK NOW tab which an be found at the top of this page. .

Those new couples who prefer to book "one session at a time," please follow the prompts to choose "First Couples Appointment with PE Fee" tab IF we are meeting for the first time. Cost $430. For your second and or following couples counselling sessions, you may select the regular "Couples Counselling Appointment," tab and simply PAYG. Cost $330.

Our efforts and care in the NDIS and Aged Care sectors, are mainly focused on wellbeing and capacity building, to include counselling and psychosocial support. We utilise a blend of evidence based clinical modalities to ensure people living with disabilities or the challenges of old age, can live their best lives possible. We also introduce the powerful benefits creative therapy and art play in the healing process, if that is desired. These services are tailored, bespoke and typically "one on one."
